Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Her father Sergey (d. in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka hails from Belarus and was born on 5th May 1998. Her twelve WTA singles titles comprise one Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. Additionally, she's a fantastic doubles player she has two Majors to her name in this specialty including the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both by Elise Mertens. She also achieved an incredible Sunshine Double in 2019, by winning her the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. Only four women's doubles couples win this title. In the month of January, 2023, she reached her highest ranking in singles. The 23rd day of August 2021, she rose into the top two spot of world rankings. When she played doubles, she managed to push her way to the top during February of that same year following her victory in Melbourne making her the second tennis player born in Belarus to achieve success in this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until the end of her season in 2019, and also for a short time before the year 2020 began. Dieter Kindlmann was also her coach for short periods during the months of August through September 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach, and has been since the beginning of 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova are her main inspirations.
